Unfortunately for us, nothing went right with the trip. Rooms had a musty smell from the time we entered. The sofa set, the floor and the bed coverings all had a layer of dust. Cobwebs found inside the bedrooms. We were told that the place was cleaned in the morning, a claim which i find very difficult to believe. Narendran tried a lot to defend his position but am sorry to say, if he isn’t able to provide clean rooms to customers he shouldn’t be in this business. I had to shift to another hotel at midnight with two very tired kids and it wasn’t a great start to our vacation. The road to the properly is practically non-existing… only stones and any sedan-type car would definitely get damaged badly. On top of everything, I never got a full refund, in fact Narendran asked me for compensation for loss of business!!! I am sure Narendran will come back strongly to defend his case. It is my duty to make other guests aware. Book at your own risk. Response to Narendrans reply: Point 1 - he can lie thru his nose. He says I came past midnight. Look at the snapshot of my google map time line. He says that I landed at midnight when I actually reached at 09:07. Please see photo attached. I have also attached snapshot of our WhatsApp chat where I confirm arrival time as 8:30 pm and he acknowledged it. Point 2 - about the road - national highway or expressway - if anyone books your property in future even after reading my review, will discover for themselves. Taxi driver didn’t refuse. He brought us right up to the doorstep. He was naturally concerned about his vehicle undercarriage. Point 3 - thank you for the food. We appreciate the good things in life too. Point 4 - if there were problems, we are bound to highlight. The floor was chipped, the bed and side table had dust. So what did you expect us to do. Accept and Adjust ? Point 5 - The taxi arranged was at Rs 1300 for 4 kms!!! After providing me with a room which was below par, you didn’t do a favour on me by arranging another hotel. Any gentleman who looks at small kids and a lady waiting with bags would’ve done it and not mentioned it as courtesy. Point 6 - My understanding of a farm stay might be limited. I suggest you improve your understanding of health and hygiene. Point 7 - you promised me for a full refund and then conveniently adjusted the balance. You went back on your words. When people see point # 1 and the evidence I have presented they will know whom to trust. I have some interesting photos too that I can share if Narendran goes on with his ranting. We all make mistakes in life and it would be easier if you had accepted it in the first place and the matter would have ended then and there… you chose to escalate it by being defiant and unapologetic.

I travelled from Bangalore and stayed here with my friends. The location is serene and beautiful. The cottage was clean, neat, safe and spacious. Especially the host Mr. Naren and his parents were super amazing and their hospitality was great too. Home made food was tasty, yummy and delicious. The space is smoothly blended with nature and it's ambience and cows and dogs which are surrounded makes more attractive. I would recommend this location and stay for family and friends group who wants a memorable and pleasant farm stay.

Truly delightful stay. The place is very clean, beautiful and convenient. Very relaxing place food was excellent and Mr Naren and his parents were warm and helpful. My 9 month old son enjoyed playing with his pet dogs. The other staff on the farm also helped us through the tour of his farm . Strongly recommend it for a quite holiday in the lap of nature with all modern conveniences

I drove from Bengaluru and stayed at this wonderful Ambat Farmstay with my wife and kids. The location is serene and beautiful, so was the cottage as well..very neat, safe, clean and spacious. Above all our hosts Mr. Naren and his parents were super amazing people with great hospitality and of-course the food was very yum, delicious and home made. We all totally loved our stay here and my kids had a great time with nature and were excited to see the baby calves at the farm. I would recommend this place for family and friends groups.. and if you are a nature and organic lover, you are going enjoy your stay here. Thank you Mr. Naren, Uncle & Aunty for making our stay pleasant and memorable one..

I had the pleasure of staying for a day and Naren ensured that everything was comfortable right from the time i checked in. It is a lovely property that's very close to the Palghat Junction and yet the farm gave ample space for my dog to run around. The property is maintained very well and Naren was very flexible to provide us breakfast at 11 am after we finished the temple visits. We stayed just for a day and yet it was such a memorable experience that we plan to visit again as part of our annual trip to Palakkad Thanks Naren to you and your parents for ensuring that we had a pleasant experience
